Abstract
|

|
1. Objectives
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Sasang Constitutional medical diagnosis and treatment on Soyangin Edema caused by Deep Vein Thrombosis.
2. Methods
The Subject is a 75 years old woman who has a left lower limb edema caused by Deep Vein Thrombosis, we had diagnosed her as Soyangin and prescribed Sasang Constitutional Medicine. We evaluated with length of patient’s calf, thigh, ankle circumference and pitting edema, skin flare after medication.
3. Results
Lower limb edma of a Soyangin patient responded well to the treatment with Dojeokganggi-tang(導赤降氣湯).
4. Conclusions
This case study shows an efficient result by using Dojeokganggi-tang in treatment of Soyangin edema patient.
